How does the Opportunity Booking process work?

Opportunities can only be created by venues. Venues can create a new Opportunity from within the “Posts” section of their profile.

Here’s how the process works, step by step:

  1. Creating an Opportunity:
    • Venues set the date and time for the opportunity they wish to create.
    • The venue’s calendar is automatically checked to avoid any conflicting bookings.
  2. Filling Out the Details:
    • Once the date and time are confirmed, venues complete a second form with the following details:
      • Title: Give your opportunity a catchy name.
      • Venue Opportunity Type: Select up to 3 types (e.g., Bar, Hotel, Lounge).
      • Genre: Choose up to 7 genres that suit the type of performance you’re looking for (e.g., Chill, Blues).
      • Location: This is set to the venue’s profile location and cannot be changed.
      • Dates/Times: These fields are locked based on the information previously entered.
      • Price Point: Input a price range ($0-$5000) and specify in the description if this is per hour or for the entire opportunity.
      • Description: Add all the important details a performer needs to know about the opportunity.
  3. The Application Process:
    • Once posted, the opportunity becomes searchable for performers.
    • Up to 10 performers can apply for each opportunity. If the limit is reached, no more applications will be accepted.
    • Venues can decline applications in the dashboard, which reopens the opportunity to new performers.
  4. Performers Applying to Opportunities:
    • Performers can apply for an opportunity that fits their schedule and style.
    • If a better opportunity comes along, performers must withdraw from their current application before applying for another.
  5. Booking Confirmation:
    • If a venue wants to proceed with a booking, they send a confirmation request to a performer directly from the dashboard.
    • Performers must then double confirm or decline the booking request through their dashboard view.
    • Once a performer accepts the confirmation, the opportunity is considered booked.

Important Note:

Ozstream is not responsible for the specific terms and conditions of the booking between the venue and the performer.

Be sure to discuss and agree on all important details directly prior to sending booking confirmations.
