How does the Direct Booking process work?
Updated12 October 2024
Views2
The Direct Booking process on GigBridge is designed to allow venues to book performers directly.
Here’s how it works:
- Initiating a Direct Booking:
A venue starts the booking process by clicking the BOOK button seen on the performer’s profile. This option is only available to venues. - Inputting Date and Time:
Once the venue selects BOOK, they will be prompted to enter the desired date and time for the performance. - Checking Availability:
The system will then check the availability of both the venue and the performer to ensure there are no conflicts with existing bookings. If the time slot is available, the booking process continues. - Sending a Booking Request:
If the availability check is successful, the venue can send a message to the performer along with the booking request. The performer will then be able to review and confirm or decline the booking. - Only Venues Can Initiate Direct Bookings:
Please note that only a venue can initiate a Direct Booking. Performers are unable to initiate Direct Bookings themselves.
